"In all circumstances take up the shield of faith..." Ephesians 6:16. I want to be a voice for God’s love by using my spiritual gifts, counseling training, and my own faith to help families, couples, and individuals achieve healthy, God-centered relationships.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been practicing since 2003 in community mental health and private practice. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Mississippi State University and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I provide services to individuals, families, and couples. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and SYMBIS facilitator for premarital counseling. I am a Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider.

My husband and I have been married for 23 years and have two wonderfully energized, soccer loving boys.
I strive to serve God by compassionately walking alongside my clients as they navigate their unique challenges and goals in every area of life.
I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and adolescents (ages 6-18). I bring specialized training in couples counseling, utilizing Prepare/Enrich and Gottman Level 1 approaches. I have completed EMDR Basic Training to help children and adults process trauma, anxiety, and other distressing experiences.
What People Say
"Help[ed] hundreds of people"
Laura Ann Moore and I have worked together since 2011. For seven years, I have witnessed Laura Ann, not only help hundreds of people and families in counseling, she has also enhanced her clinical knowledge through continuing education and personal research into emerging counseling trends. She has been a blessing and an asset to the people of the Golden Triangle and I am highly confident that she will continue as a successful counselor."

Services

Christ-Centered
Christian Counseling is therapy that intermingles disciplines of faith and psychology providing a Biblical approach to mental and emotional health. A Christian Counselor will use Scripture and Biblical Teachings to guide you through difficult times in your life.

Adults
Christian Counseling for adults is a therapeutic approach that can be applied in a variety of situations. No one issue is addressed in Christian Counseling; rather, this type of therapy can be used to treat personal issues that arise from personal experiences. Christian Counseling emphasizes your faith as part of healing while also utilizing best practices of psychology.

Adolescents (6-18)
Christian Counseling for children and youth is similar to that of adults. This type of therapy emphasizes the adolescent's faith in the healing process.
